Capital Links is an independent editorial newsletter covering the business, money and trends behind premium pursuits. This page explains what personal data we handle and why. It is maintained by Capital Links and is not legal advice.
What we collect
Email address, and any name you choose to give us, when you subscribe to the newsletter.
The name, email address, subject and message you submit through the contact form.
Standard technical information created when any website is visited, such as your browser type and the pages you request.
Why we use it
To send you the newsletter on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and occasional messages about Capital Links itself.
To reply to enquiries you send us.
To understand, in aggregate, which issues and pages readers find useful.
The lawful basis for the newsletter is your consent. The lawful basis for replying to enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not rent, trade or share subscriber lists with advertisers or partners.
Retention
We keep subscriber details for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record so that we do not email you again. Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
To make a request, use the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.

If this policy changes materially we will note the change on this page and, where appropriate, in the newsletter.
